Tonight’s photo is from one of California’s lesser-known National Parks.
Redwood and Yosemite are famous, but few people know about Lassen Volcanic National Park. The park gets its name from Lassen Peak, a volcano that experienced a major eruption in 1915. There’s all sorts of geological activity going on in the park, and you can see bubbling hot springs and geysers.
